In the depths of a dim-lit cavern, a party of six pressed onward into danger. Human bard Mateo lit the way with dancing lights, briefly investigating a side chamber where he uncovered coins, simple cloth, and a bedroll. With discoveries made, the adventurers advanced deeper into the cave, led by dwarf paladin Bharren and shifter druid Fang.
The next chamber unveiled a roaring fifteen-foot waterfall. The group attempted a cautious approach, but Bharren’s heavy step betrayed their presence. Fang answered by invoking the constellation archer, his form glowing as a beacon of light. Enemies rushed forward, and battle erupted.
Klever, the kobold rogue, struck first with a shortbow arrow. Bharren followed with a solemn Toll the Dead, dropping an enemy instantly. Fang hurled a radiant javelin into new foes, while human wizard Chloros narrowly dodged a strike from an orc. The fight shifted dangerously when a kobold assailant sprayed sleep powder into Fang and Mateo, both collapsing unconscious. Quick action from Bryanna, the elf rogue, and Klever roused their companions back to the fight. Bharren retaliated with a critical Toll the Dead, striking the kobold down, and Fang unleashed thunderclap, blasting the creature to its end before launching another radiant arrow into the enemy leader, Frank, leaving him barely standing.
Mateo attempted a bold new technique, firing a musical note from his violin, but the effort went astray. The orc pressed against Chloros, calling him a coward, only to trigger the wizard’s booming blade and suffer more punishment. Arrows flew: the enemy archer wounded Fang, Bryanna answered with her longbow against the orc, and Klever’s next shot proved decisive, sending the archer tumbling over the waterfall to a watery demise. Bharren’s final toll echoed through the cavern, striking down the battered orc and ending the combat.
In the aftermath, the party secured copper, silver, and gold, their victory ringing clear against the rushing waterfall’s roar.
